Aprea AB develops target specific drugs for the treatment of cancer with non- functional p53, associated with resistance to conventional cytostatics. Aprea's first Investigational Product, APR-246, has recently been tested in a Phase I/II dose escalating safety study in patients with refractory hematological malignancies or prostate carcinoma. Additional preclinical studies to support the design of a clinical Phase II proof of concept study are ongoing. The back-up program of APR-246 focuses on orally active analogs. Several compounds demonstrating promising results have been identified. Aprea is willing to explore a wide range of business development opportunities spanning the discovery and development process. If you are interested in learning more about our partnering program, please contact us. Several patent applications for APR-246 and backup compounds have been granted in the EU, US, and several other countries. The main owners of Aprea are Karolinska Development, Industrifonden, Östersjöstiftelsen and Praktikerinvest. Members Tags |
