Axelar AB is a biotechnology company that focuses on research related to the insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1) receptor inhibitors and their applications in important human diseases, especially cancer. Axelar's overall objective is to develop innovative small-molecule compounds that inhibit the IGF-1 receptor for treatment of IGF-1 receptor-dependent diseases where a significant unmet medical need still exists.
